Monet Bray came to us in an early Belle en Argent photoshoot, and our eyes immediately morphed into hearts. She was one of the very first muses for Belle en Argent. Monet’s ability to communicate and transform for different emotions and stories in front of a camera is awe-inspiring! She’s a self proclaimed flower lady and an artist who calls Oceanside, CA home. Talking to this girl is a dream, and it sounds like she’s on her way to living hers.

When did you know this is what you wanted to do?
I stood in with a friend at her photo shoot because the photographer asked me to and I had no experience but she had a vision. I have never felt so vulnerable and confident at the same time. Later seeing the photos I couldn’t believe it was me! Couldn’t see myself doing anything else after that.
What projects are you working on now?
I'm at a point in my life where I want to challenge myself and explore other avenues in the industry. Joining an acting agency is on my agenda.
What is your dream project? Or dream collaboration?
My dream project is to be the face of a beauty line. I loved walking in the beauty section of a department store. I called it the pretty people wall.
List 3 accomplishments you are most proud of:
Successfully built my own portfolio (honestly had no idea what I was doing)
Got signed to an agency 2 yrs ago
Changed my focus from academics to pursue my dreams
Who is your favorite character from a movie?
Gandalf (lord of the rings) “You shall not pass!”
What is one thing you wish you could tell your younger self?
Not everyone is going to like you. So just be yourself.
What is your favorite makeup product?
Has to be eyebrow gel.
If you had one shot at a red carpet event what type of look would you go for?
Leg... leg... and more leg (Angelina Jolie inspo)
Who do you admire and why?
My mom. I don’t think there is enough character space for me to write entirely why. Being raised by a single mom showed me just how powerful and beautiful being a woman is.
