Jillian Ezra is a bicoastal babe running her own production company out of Los Angeles and New York City… But Los Angeles mostly, because, sun. Her production company’s entire mission is to use filmic visuals tell the true story behind a client, whether the client is a family, or a company with a product. She founded her company based on her belief in film’s unique transportive abilities. Jillian makes for a perfect Belle en Argent Muse because of her strengths and successes as a woman in a male-dominated business, as well as the purity in her company’s goals and the genuine passion she fostered and followed to create the world she runs. Her company’s love for telling authentic stories mirrors ours, and she is a true joy to be around.

Branded content videos for Herbivore, SESAC, Jay Luchs, and more :)
What is your dream project? Or dream collaboration?
I love working with purpose-driven brands that want to create content that inspires change. The cherry on top is when those brands have substantial budgets for us to work with. I'd love to create branded content video series or commercials in the vein of Dove's videos, but I'd love to do the videos for companies that use all-natural ingredients, like an Herbivore, and organizations who are truly fighting for social change, like the NCJW.

Who is your favorite character from a movie?
I don't really have one but I'm obsessed with Dee Rees and Rachel Morrison right now. Dee wrote and directed Mudbound (among many other films) and Rachel was the DP for Mudbound (among many other films).
What is one thing you wish you could tell your younger self?
Everything is going to be FIIIIIINEEEE

Foundation that doubles as concealer

Elegant and timeless
Who do you admire and why? (this can be someone you know or a public figure)
So many people, it's hard to choose just one. Right now I'm in love with Sashee Chandran, founder and CEO of Tea Drops (www.myteadrop.com). She saw a need in the marketplace and used her creativity and business prowess to solve that problem and create an amazing, thriving company. To top it off, she was raised (by two incredible parents) with amazing values. I recently asked her if I could have a room in her oceanside Malibu mansion one day when she's filthy rich, and she literally responded, "I wouldn't spend money on that. I want to live a humble life." A+ human being.
